Today was our first time in a Gymnastics club and the little ones absolutely enjoyed themselves and had so much fun at Weybourne Gymnastic Club. Plus we all managed to burn off a lot of energy.
The Stay and Play sessions are Parent supervised, You can go along and play, jump and climb with your little ones in their fully functional Gymnastics club. They have a sprung floor, sprung tumble track, built in trampoline, foam pit, Bouncy castle, inflatable air track, soft play equipment and much more. So many choices that your little ones will be spoilt for choice and not know where to go first.
For the smaller children it’s great as there is a selection of ride on toys, soft play, walkers and bouncers for them to play with. Plus there is lots of space for them to crawl around and explore. They are also able to use the other gym equipment under your supervision.
Noah had lots of fun exploring and was straight away climbing the walls, think I was more nervous than him watching him do this. He was able to bounce on the trampoline and land safely in the foam pits. He had great fun running along the air track and was great because if he did fall the floor was soft so no injuries.
It was great to see both little ones being so confident in a new activity and thriving. Noah had no fear and was literally jumping straight into things. Isabella was able to use all her new skills and practice climbing onto things and exploring all the different soft play equipment.
This type of stay and play class is great as It builds skills for life, supporting cognitive development, strength and conditioning, coordination and flexibility. Plus having the opportunity to have both little ones with me and exploring the activists at their own pace and for each of their own age group too.
The Stay and Play class has an age limit of 5 years and is open every weekday morning except bank holidays until the Christmas holidays. If you’re reading this after that, do check their website for updates.
There is also a small cafe upstairs selling refreshments and plenty of seating available overlooking the gym floor if you needed a break.
