Could sunflowers be the happiest flowers? If you’re looking to visit a pick your own sunflower fields this summer there are lots of great options around Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and nearby. Do check out our summer what’s on guides too.
Some of the sunflower places to visit are simple farm fields and others have extra activities for kids.
SPOTLIGHT – THE PATCH MK
With 500,000 sunflowers, the sunflower field at The Patch MK offers an outdoor escape this summer. A brilliant family day out not far from Milton Keynes, they also have 3 amazing mazes, wildflower & wheat fields, lots photo opportunities and plenty of play for both the children and adults.
Buckinghamshire PYO Sunflower Fields

Lillingtone PYO (Dayrell)
The sunflower Trail boasts some beautiful photo opportunities set amongst the sea of yellow blooms! There will also be Sunflowers at Sunset evenings with live music, festoon lighting, bar and food! Not only that but a whole host of activities from a maize maze, wildflowers, the Play Patch and more!

- Farmer Paul’s (near Aylesbury) – cancelled for 2024
Oxfordshire PYO Sunflower Fields
- Stonor Farm (near Henley-on-Thames) – stunning field, no need to book, no entry feel and just pay for what you pick
- Rectory Farm (Stanton st John, just outside Oxford) – PYO sunflowers open from 17th August
High Lodge Farm (Culham, close to Abingdon)
CANCELLED High Lodge Farm have planted 9 acres of sunflowers. Unfortuntely they have not grown well and they won’t be opening their Sunflower PYO field.
Millets Farm sunflower field (Frilford)
CANCELLED Millets Farm Pick Your Own Sunflower field. Combine with a great day out to meet the animals, a game of adventure golf or get lost in the Millets Maize Maze.
- Bruern Farms (Bruern, halfway between Burford & Chipping Norton) cancelled 2024 there may be a wildflower field tbc
- Glebe Farm (Lower Brailes, near Banbury) – cancelled not running in 2024

Gloucestershire PYO Sunflower Fields
- Over Farm (Over, near Gloucester)
- Cotswold Farm Park (wildflowers + sunflowers)
