Red Kangaroo Trampoline Centre in Reading opened in 2017. We’d highly recommend it – we reckon it’s the perfect place to go on a rainy day with kids of all ages. It’s a large sized trampoline centre and has lots of extra activities that we haven’t seen elsewhere to keep everyone entertained. We visited with a 5 year old and 7 year old who had a brilliant time.
Red Kangaroo Trampoline Centre – Before You Bounce
As with other trampoline centres, you’ll need grippy bounce socks which you can purchase at the recpetion for £2 per pair. Once you’ve got your wristband you watch the safety video before going through to the bounce arena. There are (free) electronic lockers here to keep your valuables.
Red Kangaroo Equipment
We have visited quite a few other trampoline centres in the area so were excited to find lots of attractions which we haven’t seen elsewhere. In the ‘Wipeout game’, players jump over or duck under a rotating sweeper arm while trying desperately to perch safely on their podiums without toppling off!
We loved the ‘bash and bounce’ game with large buttons where you had to jump up to press the flashing lights. The twisty tube slide was also a fun addition. For keen climbers, there is a ‘ninja course’ with swinging climbing plates obstacle course and swinging nets full of foam blocks next to a climbing wall.
We also loved the addition of someone dressed up as a kangaroo who came out and bounced around for part of the session (and got pelted with balls by all the children!)
There were also all the usual favourites we have enjoyed in other trampoline centres such as dodgeball court, slam dunk hoops, freestyle trampolines and a gladiator beam and foam pits.
Red Kangaroo Reading Cafe
There is a cafe with loads of tables. The cafe serves tea, coffee and cake as well as pizza and hot dogs.
Red Kangaroo Parties
There are four themed party rooms for birthday parties.
