Piglets Play Centre

Located in the beautiful greenbelt in Hersham, Surrey, Piglets have a purpose built indoor soft play and outdoor facilities with friendly farm animals to visit, along with a great cafe.

This fabulous combination of inside soft play, plenty of space outside, means that everyone is sure to have loads of fun, whatever the season.

You can either book for 1.5hours or the unlimited time session. I did originally just book for 1.5hours but soon found that this wasn’t enough time for the children to play and explore, so ended up paying the extra to spend the whole day here.

Although there aren’t many animals to see, and the name Piglets suggests that there would be Piglets there weren’t any. (apparently there will be some coming soon though) they did however have two cheeky goats who provided lots of entertainment watching them.  It was like watching a pair of toddlers having fun, and a gorgeous little rabbit too.

We started off playing in the soft play area which isn’t overly big but was big enough for Noah and Isabella to run around. It had the usual slide, rollers to crawl through, large bouncy balls to throw around, mirrors and tunnels to crawl through. The slide was super speedy, and Noah loved being a daredevil and going down on his tummy.

Inside the cafe area there was plenty of seating available, and in this area was also a play house with kitchen and accessories. Plenty of ride on toys, the motorbikes were a firm favourite and they were both having races around the places (luckily the inside area was nice and big to burn off lots of energy) If you did fancy some quiet time then there is a great selection of books which you can read too.

When you walk outside you will be surprised at how much outdoor space there is (and everything is safely enclosed so the little ones can safely explore) .

Noah and Isabella headed straight to the car area and hoped in the Little Tikes cars, they had lots of fun zooming around the race track. They had a great selection of different ride on toys from motorbikes, cars, trucks and tractors – this provided lots of fun.

In the outside area there was also toddler swings, a basket swing, large sandpit area with lots of plastic toys to dig and make sandcastles from. Wooden structures to sit and play on, Noah loved the boat and was pretending to sail away with the dinosaurs. It certainly did provide lots of chance for imaginative play in the fresh air.

There was also a wooden climbing structure which had a tunnel underneath and a slide to enjoy too. So many different activities were in the outside area that it was great to have the choice of either inside or outside depending on the weather. We certainly made the most of both areas too.

A nice little addition was the goats, they were very cheeky but friendly and allowed you to stroke them. We enjoyed watching them playing about and trying to teach the high branches of the trees for a little snack.

We had a really fun time here today, and it’s great as you don’t need to prebook, literally just turn up on the day. Plus the added benefit of having a great indoor and outdoor space to explore. Especially as we all know what the British weather is like.
