It’s official… we were HOOKED!
We just got back from the enchanting production of Peter Pan at the Milton Keynes Theatre, and wow, what a magical evening!
The girls absolutely loved it, it was actually their favourite Panto so far! From the moment the curtain rose, we were whisked away to Neverland, where the stage was purely beautiful. The outfits, dances and songs were incredible and it really felt like an old school Panto, with bucketfuls of nostalgia.
The actors brought the beloved characters to life in such an energetic and captivating way and they were a really talented bunch, Betsy loved Tinkerbell most and Bella loved Smee We also loved the gymnastics elements as Betsy was in awe of their talent (as an aspiring gymnast) and it added a real wow moment!
The choreography was fantastic, we loved the Strictly parts with some impressive flying scenes too Also, Craig Revel Horwood has a brilliant voice! This was a real bonus as we knew he had the moves but he really does have a great voice to match. We thought he was truly spectacular darling. FAB-U-LOUS! it’s a ten from us!
Overall, the production was amazing. The audience was packed with all ages and I felt this pantomime really catered for both children and older members of the audience in equal measure whilst catching every age group in between. We were all really laughing out loud and there was a standing ovation at the end! It felt like we had been transported to the west end.
If you’re looking for a fun festive night out, where you’re guaranteed to leave with a smile on your face then I can’t recommend Peter Pan at Milton Keynes Theatre enough!
