Have you ever been to Nixons Farm?
We spent the morning at Nixons Farm, we went for a 2 hour session on a Sunday morning and chose the outdoor area. Prices vary depending on if it’s midweek or weekend and if you want to book for the indoor or outdoor area or both. A child’s weekend ticket for indoor and outdoor is £12 (April 2025) and varies during the school holidays.
We love Nixons farm, there’s the farm shop, a lovely little cafe and an animal area with some farm animals such as gin-eau pigs, pigs, sheep, donkeys and rabbits which you can meet!
The outdoor area is vast- there’s a bit of cover to protect from the rain but it’s mostly open. The area is Astro turfed and is basically a Little Tykes dream , it has every slide you could imagine, lots of the famous little cars, tunnels, a sand pit and even a bouncy castle!
Our little girls loved playing with the pretend tractors and waving to the donkeys in the field.
We got food from the kiosk was perfect for children; sausages, pizza, chicken nuggets and fish fingers and was very reasonable. I enjoyed a lovely coffee in the sunshine whilst watching the girls play!
If you are planning a day out this spring or summer then definitely head to Nixons farm and check out the outdoor area- indoor area review coming soon!
