Ninja Warrior is an indoor adventure park with a difference. Budding ninjas can test their skills balancing, swinging, climbing and jumping and then go bouncing in the huge inflatable zone.

Ninja Warrior Obstacle Course

I had never been before but my just turned 11 year old has been to a couple of parties there and when asked what he wanted to do on his birthday he was quick to request a family trip to Ninja Warriors in Milton Keynes.  I was a little dubious that my 6 year old would get as much out of it but all three of my kids had an absolute blast and I did too!

The first thing they raced to was the challenge walls with a small, medium and large to run up.  You need a good run up to reach the top and they spent ages doing this.  My 11 and 12 year old mastered the steepest one and while not quite making it to the top of the tallest, my 6 year old kept coming back throughout our visit to persevere.

There are lots of great challenges which will appeal to all ages, including some really tricky ones for competitive mums and dads too.  We loved the variety and I loved that all three of  my kids could get involved and really enjoy themselves.  It can be tricky to find somewhere really great when you have kids with a spread of ages and especially since my older kids have grown out of soft play.

Obstacles vary from balance beams and swinging platforms to the most amazing array of monkey bar style challenges.  It was great to see so many parents joining in with their kids too, perfect family activity.  I must admit my arms are aching today after a full body workout, definitely need to work on my core strength!

One of our favourites, we called the Spiderman wall, you make your way along the see-through Perspex wall raised above the ground.

Ninja Warrior Inflatable Park

The inflatable air park is like a mega bouncy castle obstacle course and my kids loved it.  They started off by racing around and exploring before playing games of hide & seek and various leaping about challenges.

While you have shoes on for the main ninja obstacle course, you take shoes off and wear special socks for the inflatables.  The socks are similar to trampoline park socks except they have grippy toes rather than the whole sole. These can be purchased at reception.

Running around the perimeter is a great obstacle route where you climb, scramble, dodge and leap your way through the route.  There are hand grips which are ideal for younger ones to pull themselves up (or parents who can’t keep up), tunnels to pass through and various inflatable shapes.

The central part has a great big area if you just want to jump which my 6 year old did a lot of.  The slides are a good height and definitely faster than I was expecting.  There’s a really big bouncy pillow that my boys loved leaping off too.

What a brilliant trip out, we loved it all and my kids didn’t stop for the whole time we were there.  Very sweaty by the end!

There’s a cafe with range of food and drinks and I’ve also got to mention that all the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Ninja Warrior Milton Keynes Parking

Located off Bletcham Way, they are next to Asda and use the same car park. Follow the road off Bletcham Way, past the Asda Petrol Station and into the car park. 3 hours free parking (2 hours on event days).  Very close to IKEA too if you want to pop in there before or after for a quick shop or bargain kids meal!
