Singing Tuition
Singing students learn good posture and breathing techniques as well as vocal projection. Students may also chose their own repertoire and can learn from any genre (pop, soul, jazz, musical theatre etc). Some students also like to sing some of their own material (this is optional). Helen can help with vocal technique issues, audition and performance preparation and harmonies and backing vocals. For students wishing to do singing exams, Helen teaches the Rockschool syllabus. Piano Tuition
Piano students are encouraged to learn a variety of genres and styles of music and also have an opportunity to write their own melodies and piano pieces, as well as learning scales, arpeggios and a range of technical exercises. Students may do exams if they wish or just learn for fun. For students wishing to do piano exams, Helen teaches both Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) and Rockschool syllabuses.
