Flaunden Baby, and Toddler group runs on a Friday at Flaunden Village Hall, spacious, warm, and recently refurbished.
The Children have a safe, clean environment to play, with a calm area for the little babies, to lay, and soak up the atmosphere. Getting used to sounds, movements, and a warm, social, stimulating environment.
Mum, and carers can enjoy a hot drink, with some Biscuit’s, and Cake. Drinks, snacks, and fruit for the little ones are all on offer throughout the session.
Arts, and Crafts tend to go with a theme. Christmas, Valentines, Easter, Mother’s/Fathers day crafts, etc, and the children can take their creations away with them, as gifts, or for mummy’s fridge door!
Puzzle’s, play-doh, duplo, transport/trains, play kitchen, reading corner, and ride-ons are all popular activities, which the children love to play with.
The session is every Friday, term time. Arriving from 9.30am, the group is very relaxed. Some of you arrive for the entire session, some pop in around baby’s nap time. Whatever works for you, works for us!
The amount to pay when you come along, is £3 per family. Regardless of the amount of children you have in one family, the price remains at £3. This includes all of the above. Tea/Biscuit’s/fruit, etc.
We have a Summer, and a Christmas party – where Father Christmas joins us! There’s party food, music, and at times, a soft play/bouncy castle for the children to enjoy.
The baby & toddler group warmly welcome families. And the group is ideal for newborn babies, to around 4 years.
If you fancy a chat, or would like to come along for some quiet time – you can escape and spend some 1-2 time with baby/your little one, or you may be glad of some adult company.
There is no format. The time is yours.
My aim is for babies, and children to form friendships, and enjoy their time at the group. And for us too! For the children to take as much away from the sessions for their learning and growth, as possible.
They promise to welcome you warmly. So please don’t worry if you haven’t been to any groups before.
