Magical Stalls, Guest Visitors, Talks, Live Music & Meet Faery Alice.

This year’s Spring Faery Fayre Weekend will take place on 10th & 11th May 2025 with an Alice in Wonderland Faery Theme.   Hosted at Blackfriars Priory, a stunning example of a 13th century medieval Priory site, nestled at the heart of the waterside City of Gloucester.

Enjoy the magical faery fun inside the building & around the Court garden.

Spring Faery Trail – FREE

There will be a Spring Faery Trail Alice in Wonderland Theme around the venue and court garden plus special extra vist to Mary deCrypt which is just around the corner from Blackfriars & The Folk of Gloucester to find the missing Alice in Wonderland Characters & Fairies. Plus Alice in Wonderland Faery Croquet and Tea Pot racing.

The Trail is taking place at several locations in Gloucester including Blackfriars Priory,  The Museum of Gloucester,  The House of the Tailor Beatrix Potter Museum,  Shops Faeluna & Cauldron Creations.

Children can search for the Wonderland Characters and Faeries with the Letters, look for clues and answer questions linked to the Theme. There will be a lovely display of creative items kindly donated from artists on display at The Gloucester Museum representing the different Alice in Wonderland characters.

Magical Stalls & Talks

There will be a wonderful display of Faery related fantasy stalls with special Guest Exhibitors. A magical programme will consist of Talks, Workshops & Entertainment.

Come along dressed as your favourite theme Faery or Alice in Wonderland Character anything goes from flower faery, steampunk faery, whereever your imagination takes you.

Spring Faery Alice & Wonderland Parade

Our Spring Faery Alice & Wonderland Parade will be leaving from St Mary deCrypt at 1.30pm via Cafe Rene through Gloucester High Street leading back to Blackfriars Priory. Free to take part & family friendly.

Tea, Coffee & snacks will be on sale provided by Blackfriars Priory Cafe.
