Ideal for little detectives aged 6 and up, The Midnight Mission is an awesome example of interactive playable theatre. The audience is issued with an ‘agent kit’ as they arrive, helping them discover clues, make notes and vote for different outcomes to solve the mystery of the haunted portraits at Villa Diodati.

The youngest audience members are engaged the whole way through the story with bold movement, visuals and a chance to offer their own suggestions of next moves in the story as agents Kahlo and Dali discover where these hauntings begun.

Not only is the show great fun, but it also introduces its younger audiences to the rich gothic literary history of the authors Shelley (Frankenstein, the first sci-fi novel) and Polidori (Vampyre, the first vampire novel).

This inclusive show champions Brave Bold Drama’s core belief that art is for everyone, not just for the rich or the ‘expert’, something that we also strongly believe in here at The Theatre.
