What is there at The Beach at Notcutts?
Every year is a little different but you can expect a range of fairground rides and a big ‘beach’. We’ve been for the last couple of years and it works out great value as it’s unlimited rides during your time slot.
Run by family business Hatwell Brothers, it’s best suited to younger kids with all the favourite rides you find at a fun fair. From spinning tea cups to swings and merry go round vehicles.
The helter skelter was the favourite with my 11 and 6 year old doing it on repeat.
I love that it was one price – this year at £9.99 and then they could have unlimited goes anything they wanted for the whole 3 hours. The only thing that’s extra is food or hook a duck.
There’s a little mini golf course and traditional swing boats too.
The crooked house is a bit like a wooden play area to explore with a little ball pit and then there’s the house of fun. Make your way through the maze downstairs and then head to the top to pass over the moving floor.
Save the mini boats until last as they’ll get wet. Max age for this is 10 years.
There’s a big beach too and this is free so if you have a little one who is too small for the rides then they can happily play in the sand.
I saw lots of grandparents chilling out while the kids ran around and a mum on a deck chair who must have got a few chapters of her book read.
