Poppy Fields by Luxmuralis at St Albans Cathedral
This immersive experience marks the return of Luxmuralis after 2023’s sell-out Light Eternal. Poppy Fields reflects on the sacrifices of the First and Second World Wars, while sharing a powerful message of peace and hope. As we approach Remembrance season and the 80th anniversaries of VE and VJ Day, it’s an experience designed to pause, reflect, and remember.

A beautiful, reflective, emotional, poignant, special evening of remembrance last night at Gloucester Cathedral. Poppy Fields by Luxmuralis, transforming the magnificent Cathedral architecture into a breathtaking sound and light experience – running for the next nine nights.
Suitable for young & old, with so many different parts of the Cathedral opened up, with thoughts & feelings to share.
Incredible moving images, so very immersive. Haunting at times while also drawing you in to wanting to reflect on more.
Very creative, calming & powerful. A very special evening.
