Hyde Park Winter Wonderland

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland returnsfor 2024 with six weeks of festive activities in London.  With over 100 rides & attractions, spectacular family performances, delicious street food and more.

Winter Wonderland started as a Christmas market with a few attractions and has since grown to become an iconic London festive event.

What’s is there at Winter Wonderland?

Winter Wonderland is an extravaganza with ice skating, shows, roller coaster rides, street food stalls, festive bars and live music.

Glide into the festive season on the UK’s largest open-air ice rink, set under a picturesque canopy of twinkly lights and built around Hyde Park’s iconic Victorian bandstand.

Christmas Circus

An all-new seasonally-themed show to entertain the whole family, fast-paced and packed with acrobatic and comic routines within the heated Circus Megadome.

Cirque Berserk: Thunderbolt

An electrifying high-energy smorgasbord of thrills, skills and adrenaline-fuelled circus stunts from a troupe of daredevils that’s guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat!

Real Ice Slide

Ice Sculpting Workshops

Release your inner artist and create your own ice sculpture under the expert guidance of ice artists, with entry to the Magical Ice Kingdom also included in your ticket.

Magical Ice Kingdom

Adventure down the rabbit hole with the classic story of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland taking over Magical Ice Kingdom, featuring larger-than-life ice and snow sculptures.

Santa’s Grotto

Santa is ready and waiting to meet all the children (and their families) over at Santa’s Grotto. It is free to enter Santa’s Grotto and well-behaved children will receive a present from Santa himself.

When is the best time to go to Winter Wonderland?

During the winter, the event opens from 10:00am to 10:00pm daily, excluding Christmas Day. Mornings are great for families, where you can explore Winter Wonderland at a leisurely pace. When the evening comes around, Hyde Park is transformed by thousands of sparkling lights – so grab your mulled wine, hot chocolate, or stein of Bavarian beer and get ready to join in the festive fun.

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland Tickets

Tickets vary in price with Off Peak, Standard and Peak which provide entry to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland on a selected date and hour time slot.  Once you’ve arrived you can stay as long as you like.

There are a number of things included for example the visit to Santa’s grotto.  However most of the shows and attractions are paid for on top.  Work out what you’re interested in, your budget and check their website for details of any offers.  For example they have a spend £25 per person on attractions, rides, games and food to receive FREE admission!

Getting to Winter Wonderland

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is located in Hyde Park, London. The event is a short walk from the following London Underground stations:

  • Victoria (for step-free access to the Victoria, Circle and District lines and National Rail services) – approximately a 19-minute walk
  • Green Park (for step-free access to the Piccadilly and Jubilee lines) – approximately a 17-minute walk
  • Bond Street (for step-free access to the Central and Jubilee lines) – approximately a 14-minute walk
  • Paddington (Circle, District, Hammersmith & City and Bakerloo lines and national rail services) – approximately 12-minute walk
  • Marble Arch (Central line)
  • Hyde Park Corner (Piccadilly line)
  • Knightsbridge (Piccadilly line) – when arriving here, please use the Hans Crescent exit for Harrods.

Please note: Hyde Park Corner and Marble Arch tube stations get very busy during peak times, please use alternative stations.
