Evening of Opera at the Chiltern Open Air Museum

Chiltern Open Air Museum are pleased to be welcoming back Wild Arts for a wonderful evening of opera for the third year running, following their sold-out performance last year.

Our Opera Evening is a love story built around your favourite opera classics, arranged into 75 minutes of musical heaven. All sung by the stars of tomorrow and played by a stunning string quintet. Follow four characters’ journeys through a kaleidoscope of arias, duets, and ensembles by Mozart, Rossini, Puccini, Verdi, Rodgers & Hammerstein and many many more.
Gates will open at 5.30pm. The performance run from around 6.30pm to around 7.45pm, and the final call for departures will be at around 8.30pm
You are welcome to arrive from 5.30pm to set up your picnics and enjoy the grounds.
The performance will be on the village green in the beautiful open air. You are welcome to bring everything you need to make yourself comfortable while enjoying the performance – rugs, cushions. folding chairs, and hampers. There are a limited number of picnic tables, chairs and benches already there. We are expecting a beautiful summer’s evening but do check the weather and come prepared for an English summer.
