Surrey Christmas Lights Switch On Dates 2025
Saturday 15th November
Aldershot Christmas Cracker (Aldershot) 15th November
Alderhot town centre will be bursting with seasonal cheer, offering a sleigh-full of free family fun – from enchanting festive stalls and a magical grotto, to dazzling fireworks, sensational street performers and live entertainment across two stages.
The grand finale begins at 5.10pm in Princes Gardens, with the magical countdown to the Aldershot Christmas lights switch-on and a sparkling firework display to light up the night sky!

- Farnham Christmas lights switch on will have free, live entertainment from schools, theatre groups, dance companies and local bands.
- Warlingham Christmas lights switch on event entertainment will include choirs, the annual children’s lantern parade, Patches the Elf and the build up to the grand switch-on at 5pm.

- Oxted Christmas light switch on will include a fun and festive afternoon of entertainment, family-oriented activity and Christmas shopping, culminating in the switching on of the Oxted Christmas Lights.
- Epsom Christmas lights switch on brand-new celebration that brings together the best of cosplay, comics, creativity, and Christmas cheer.
- Addlestone Christmas lights switch on from the Mayor takes place at 5pm and there will be live music, Christmas carols, street entertainment, festive food and drinks, and of course Santa will be there!
- New Haw Christmas tree lights switch-on will have various performances along with a market to explore.

- Godalming Christmas light switch on event starts at 4:30pm

- Cranleigh Christmas lights switch on event features live entertainment ahead of the official switch-on.
