This 12-day yuletide bonanza will also feature festive food & drink, live performances of your favourite carols and Christmas songs, a mini fairground plus pantos, party nights, an elves workshop, Christmas films and feasting experiences!

Christmas Light Trail

An after dark, illuminating light trail, never before seen in Higginson Park, will be the centrepiece of the festivities with a glittering display celebrating the most wonderful time of the year.

Everyone aged 1 to 99 will be captivated by this spectacular series of luminous installations that will light up the night sky and the bank of the River Thames.

Christmas Market

Roam the Christmas Market visiting wooden chalets filled with a whole host of hand-crafted and unique Christmas gifts, trinkets and tasty goodies from moonshine and mulled wine to donuts, brownies and marshmallow-topped hot chocolate.

Winter Village

The smell of mulled wine and the sounds of carolling choirs and musicians will fill the air in the Winter Village, as you dine on warming winter snacks, sit-down dishes from a selection of gourmet street food trucks or cosy up by the fire for a tipple or two.

And for the young, and young at heart, there will be rides and games to enjoy in our Mini Fairground!

Elves Workshop

As you journey through the woods, you’ll encounter the magical Elves Workshop, where the jolly team at the National Elf Service may call on you to help them with their preparations for the big day!
