Borehamwood Fire Station Open Day takes places on Saturday 28th June from 12pm to 4pm, starting with a quiet hour from 12-1pm.

Not all open days have the same activities and some depend on the weather. That may include:

• having a look round a fire engine
• watching a cooking oil fire demonstration
• seeing someone rescued from a car
• a teddy bear ‘parachute drop’ from the top of the drill tower (bring your own teddy)
• other specialist emergency vehicles and services
• smoke experience
• Loki the fire investigation dog
• stalls, food and entertainment.
