The Beeches Golf is a driving range near Knutsford, Cheshire. They added an outside 18 hole Adventure Golf course in May last year but we’ve only just discovered it.
Their farm themed golf course is full of fun and cleverly designed holes. As you go along the 18 hole course you will find beautifully carved wooden farm animals, a style to climb over, crows perched on a scarecrow and a life size cow.
While your taking your shot though, try not to be distracted by the noisey animals. You will hear the snorts of the pig in the sty and the clucking of the chickens.
Water features alot in this course. A large waterfall cascades into a stream which meanders around all the holes. An impressive wooden pully bridge is the main feature, you and your family can get on board and pull yourself to the otherwise of the stream.
One hole even requires you to take shot and launch your ball over the water. Don’t worry there is a net to fish out any balls that fail to make it across. On the last hole, you potting your ball makes the Tractors engine start and it’s the perfect place to get a finishers photo sat on board.
It took us about an hour to play our game and afterwards we headed into the cafe for some lunch. Us and the girls really enjoyed ourselves, the course is a good level of difficulty and great fun to play.
