A new pump track is now open in Bedgrove Park!
This appears to be a slightly easier one than some of the other pump tracks around the area (including the new one in Berryfields) so is perfect for your kids to have a try if they’re less confident or a bit younger. It works also for the more experienced to have a great time too – a great new facility for active kids from dare devil toddlers on their scooters to teens.
My boys loved going round it on their scooters and gave the whole track a try, they were able to go at their own speed and there were also bigger kids going round it on their bikes that were making jumps and going much faster so it’s definitely suitable for all ages and abilities!
They want to go back on their bikes so we’ll definitely be making another visit very soon.
The new track has been funded by the local residents association who successfully raised over £117,000 and I think it’s a fab addition for that side of Aylesbury.
All the contribution and grants awarded from The Shanly Foundation, The Rothschild Foundation, The William Harding Charity, Aylesbury Community Board, Aylesbury Town Council, The Bernard Sunley Foundation, The Rectory Foundation, The Mobbs Memorial Trust, The Gosling Foundation, The Syder Foundation, Fairhive Thriving Communities Fun, The Anson Charitable Trust, The National Lottery Community Fun, Heart of Bucks Young Futures Fun, SH2, The Clare Founcation and The Arnold Clark Community Fund made this possible.
It’s also in the grounds of Bedgrove Park, so there is a car park, large field (where obviously the boys played some football) a decent park and a stream. There are also lots of picnic tables and benches dotted around so I reckon we’ll definitely make an afternoon of it at some point in the summer!
The pump track was open from Friday 4th July 2025, but there was official launch event on July 12th.
